Talking of Penn and Teller, last nights show was like a scaled down version of their act , combined with lots of jiggery-pokery, special effects and farce. Plus a dam good old English supper before. I love The Menier Chocolate Factory , they always do a pre-show supper themed to the performance .I wonder what they’ll serve up in Feb , when I see Ruby Wax and Judith Owen doing a show about depression ?

Yes,we did watch Penn and Teller and did not see that last trick coming. I yelled so loudly that my face hurts.We then watched a brilliant French film called ‘A Prophet’,a tough prison drama which was only spoilt by the fact that the lead Corsican gangster looked alot like TV chef Anthony Worrel Thompson on a bad day….
Now Penn has left the room , I can tell you how it’s done .Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah he’s back
