John and I went up to Brum yesterday for his Mum, Mary’s birthday lunch .She is amazingly fit considering all the intrusive surgey she has this year .It was a lovely do.
Returned for Downton Abbey , but I’m having big problems with Penelope Wilton’s wig.
O I didn’t notice her wig maybe because I was gobsmacked about the yellow paper ‘dress’ that they had wrapped around Lavinia. I LOVE the dresses on this production and can only presume that they ran out of fabric. Mind you,if she gets caught up in the smoldering looks between Mary and Matthew then she’ll go up in a puff of smoke. O er…spoiler alert….
